UnityFreak is in closed beta. Signing up creates your early-access account.
Every plan includes LFS storage. Bandwidth is never metered on any of them — see how that compares to the other hosts.
| Host | Past your quota |
|---|---|
| Typical hosted git provider | Data packs sold in fixed blocks; bandwidth is metered and throttles once a pack runs out. |
| UnityFreak | Add prepaid 25 GiB blocks at $2/mo — no surprise bills, and bandwidth is never metered, on every plan. Paid plans can instead auto-purchase blocks automatically, capped at a limit you set. |
Everything in Team, plus custom seat pricing, SSO/SAML, org-level audit logging, a private training library for onboarding and internal docs, dedicated support, and custom LFS quotas for organisations that need them.
Pure per-seat pricing — no bundled minimums beyond Team's 5-seat floor.
team members
One seat per person with a full member or admin role on your projects — not per active user in a given month. Clients and read-only viewers you add to a project are free and don't count toward your seat total, no matter how many you add. Free caps out at 3 seats; Pro is priced per seat with no minimum; Team requires at least 5 seats.
By default, a push that would exceed your quota is rejected with a clear error before anything uploads — nothing breaks, nothing is billed without you asking. Add storage in 25 GiB blocks at $2/mo each from your billing settings, or upgrade your plan. Bandwidth is never metered or charged, on any plan, at any usage level. Paid plans can instead turn on auto-purchase, and we'll add blocks automatically the moment a push needs them — capped at a limit you set, so you always know the most you could ever be charged.
Yes — on every plan, including Free. You only ever pay for LFS storage past your quota, never for how often your team clones or pulls large files.
Pro is $15/seat/mo billed monthly, or $12/seat/mo ($144/seat/yr) billed annually. Team is $20/seat/mo either way — billing annually changes the invoice cadence, not the per-seat rate. Free has no billing cycle.
Yes. You can downgrade to Free or change seat counts at any time; there's no lock-in beyond the billing period you've already paid for.
Correct — your repositories are not mined for AI training data, not sold to third parties, and not scanned for anything beyond what's needed to run the service (e.g. malware scanning on uploads). This applies to every plan, including Free.
Not at launch — UnityFreak is a hosted service today. A self-hosted option isn't ruled out for the future, but it isn't part of the current roadmap.
The per-seat rate you sign up at today is the rate you keep for as long as your subscription stays active, even as list prices change later. Your account is reserved at today's ladder from the moment you create it.
Any participant on a Team plan can record a call or meeting. When recording starts, everyone in the call gets a real-time notification and a persistent REC indicator stays visible until recording stops. Recordings are audio-only and produce an AI transcript and linked meeting notes.
Yes — every account gets a one-time 14-day Pro trial via Stripe Checkout. A card is required at signup; if you don't cancel, it auto-continues on the paid plan after 14 days. Cancel anytime during the trial and you won't be charged.
