1. DMCA Agent Information

UnityFreak respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using the UnityFreak platform.

2. Filing a Takedown Notice

If you believe that content hosted on UnityFreak infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notification pursuant to DMCA §512(c)(3). Your notice must include the following:

• Identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are involved.
• Identification of the infringing material and its location on the Platform, including the specific URL(s) where the material can be found.
• Your contact information, including your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
• A statement of good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on behalf of the owner.
• A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf.

3. Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include the following:

• Identification of the removed content and the location where it appeared before it was removed, including the specific URL(s).
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
• Your name, address, and telephone number.
• A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which UnityFreak may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification.
• A physical or electronic signature.

4. Process Timeline

After receiving a valid takedown notice, UnityFreak will follow this process:

• Takedown: The identified infringing content will be removed or access disabled within 24–48 hours of receiving a valid notice.
• Notification: The user who posted the content will be notified of the takedown and provided with a copy of the complaint.
• Counter-notification window: If a counter-notification is received, the original complainant has 10–14 business days to file a court action seeking a restraining order.
• Restoration: If no court action is filed within the 10–14 business day window, the removed content will be restored.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

UnityFreak maintains a policy for the termination of accounts belonging to repeat infringers. Users who receive three valid DMCA takedown notices will have their account permanently terminated. This policy applies to all users, including course creators, marketplace sellers, and community members.

Each valid takedown counts as one strike. Strikes are tracked across the lifetime of the account and are not reset. Upon receiving a third strike, the account will be permanently banned without the possibility of reinstatement.

6. UK Copyright & Hosting Defence

For users in the United Kingdom, our liability as a hosting provider is governed by the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002, Regulation 19. We will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to content upon obtaining actual knowledge that it infringes copyright or other intellectual property rights.
