2. Expected Behavior
We expect all community members to:
- Give constructive feedback. When reviewing code, courses, or assets, focus on being helpful and specific rather than dismissive or vague.
- Credit others' work. Always attribute code, designs, tutorials, and other resources to their original creators.
- Ask questions. There are no silly questions. If you're unsure about something, ask — and be patient with those who do.
- Help others. If you have knowledge or experience that could benefit someone, share it generously.
- Report violations. If you see behavior that violates these guidelines, report it so we can keep the community safe.
3. Prohibited Content & Behavior

- Plagiarism and intellectual property theft. Presenting someone else's work as your own, including code, tutorials, course content, or assets.
- Doxxing and sharing private information. Publishing or threatening to publish another person's private information, such as their real name, address, phone number, or email, without their consent.
- NSFW content. Sexually explicit, graphically violent, or otherwise inappropriate content that is not suitable for a professional development community.
- Scams and fraudulent services. Offering fake services, misleading listings, phishing, or any other form of fraud.

4. Marketplace & Course Standards
All content published on the UnityFreak marketplace and course platform must meet the following standards:
- Accurate descriptions. Listings and course descriptions must accurately represent the content, features, and capabilities of the product or course being offered.
- Working code and templates. All code, templates, and assets must be functional as described. Known limitations or requirements must be clearly documented.
- No stolen or pirated content. All content must be original or properly licenced. Uploading stolen, pirated, or unauthorised content will result in immediate removal and potential account termination.
- Honest reviews only. Reviews must reflect genuine experiences. Fake reviews, review manipulation, and review exchanges are prohibited.
5. Enforcement Actions
Violations of these guidelines are handled through an escalating enforcement system. The severity of the action depends on the nature and frequency of the violation:
Level 1Warning
Issued for first-time minor violations. A written notice explaining the violation and expected behaviour going forward.
Level 224-Hour Mute
Issued for repeated minor violations. The user is temporarily restricted from posting, commenting, and messaging for 24 hours.
Level 37-Day Suspension
Issued for serious violations. Full account access is suspended for 7 days. The user cannot log in or access any platform features.
Level 430-Day Suspension
Issued for severe or repeated serious violations. Full account access is suspended for 30 days with a final warning that further violations will result in permanent removal.
Level 5Permanent Ban
Issued for egregious violations or persistent rule-breaking. The account is permanently terminated with no possibility of reinstatement. This includes all associated accounts.
UnityFreak reserves the right to skip enforcement levels and take immediate action (including permanent bans) for egregious violations such as threats of violence, hate speech, or illegal activity.
6. Appeals Process

- Submit your appeal through the moderation appeals page.
- Include a clear explanation of why you believe the action was incorrect or disproportionate.
